Instead of jumping on the interstate to get between tourist locations and great driving roads in the area, this Texas Hill Country road provides you with a nice alternative.  Enjoy the slower pace.  P.S. Don't forget to celebrate tonight!!!

This road provides a fun little adventure in the middle of great Ozark driving roads.  Not as crowded as surrounding roads, this provides you with a leisurely experience away from the crowds.

This unique Colorado road makes you wonder if you are in Colorado, New Mexico, or Arizona.  You are more likely to see a roadrunner or coyote verses a mountain goat or bear.

This little Texas Hill Country road provides fantastic views across the Texas Hill Country.  Don't forget to visit the other great driving roads West of a major Texas metroplex for some serious fun.

This Ozark road may be the only road that can take you from Cuba to France while enjoying a magazine.  If you venture down this road, don't forget to stop and enjoy the fantastic views along the way.

Not many roads take you from a high desert, up to a mountain pass, and then back to high desert.  This out of the way Colorado road provides you with the beauty of high desert, with a high mountain pass thrown in for good measure.  Be careful, part of this road is open cattle range.

This fun little Ozark road doesn't offer access to any of the tourist areas, and is hidden away off the beaten path.  However, if you do find it, enjoy the lack of traffic, and the curves and corners.  And watch out for the brick walls, they do more damage when guardrail.

This Colorado canyon road provides a unique experience when moving from the major Colorado metropolitan areas to the more 'tourist' areas of Colorado.  My motto, say off the boring freeways when possible.

This Texas Hill Country road takes you past some unique rock formations planted in the middle of Texas.  Not an abundant number of curves or elevation changes, but the views are interesting.
