This portion of US Highway 6 snakes through a deep Rocky Mountain river canyon, making its way from the city of Golden, to Interstate 70.  If this road trip ends in the town of Golden, no need to get a tour of the famous brewery, after this great winding Colorado driving road, your head will already be spinning.
