ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 7

Arkansas State Highway 7 is also known as the Scenic 7 Byway.  This portion of Scenic 7 Byway is a 10 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that provides access to the area known as the Grand Canyon of Arkansas.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 7 (Hot Springs to Ola)

Arkansas State Highway 7 is also known as the Scenic 7 Byway.  This portion of the Scenic 7 Byway is the 50 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that runs from the tourist town of Hot Springs to the town of Ola.  One of the classic must drive roads that your grandparents have probably driven.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 9

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 9 is a 30 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that twists and turns through the hills, and provides access to the popular water sport activity White River.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 14

Arkansas State Highway 14 is a 20 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that is popular for moving from the great Ozark driving road, Arkansas State Highway 341, and another great Ozark driving road, Arkansas State Highway 9, in the town of Mountain View.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 16

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 16 is a 35 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that runs between the Arkansas State Highway 21, and Arkansas State Highway 23, the Pig Trail Scenic Byway.  Arkansas State Highway 16 is a nice Ozark mountain drive with twisty curves and fun elevation changes.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 21

This section of Arkansas State Highway 21 is a wonderful 20 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road, with fun twisty corners and beautiful scenic views.  When you reach the town of Swain, don’t forget to stop and enjoy the panoramic views across the hills.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 23 (Pig Trail Scenic Byway)

Arkansas State Highway 23 is also known as the Pig Trail Scenic Byway.  This section of Arkansas State Highway 23, is a 40 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road filled with an intense number of curves and elevation changes to satisfy anyone.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 27

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 27, is a 23 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road running through the Ouachita National Forest.  If in the Hot Springs area, this is a good road to checkout for its nice combination of scenic views and sweeping curves.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 28

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 28, is a 10 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road running through the Ouachita National Forest.  If in the Hot Springs area, this is a good road to checkout for its nice combination of scenic views, sweeping curves, and access to the Fourche LaFave River.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 43

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 43, is a 5 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road, that runs along the edge of the Henry Keon Experimental Forest.  This road is very popular with motorcycle enthusiasts and is located just South of the popular motorcycle destination of Harrison Arkansas.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 74 (To Kingston)

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 74 is a 14 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road that offers a wonderful series of gentle winding curves with a nice scenic background.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 74 (From Jasper)

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 74 is a 20 miles stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road, that offers not only a multitude of hills, curves, and scenic views, but also access to the popular Buffalo River water sport recreation area.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 87

Arkansas State Highway 87 is a 10 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that is popular for moving from the great Ozark driving road, Arkansas State Highway 341, and another great Ozark driving road, Arkansas State Highway 9, in the town of Mountain View.  Combining this road with Arkansas State Highway 14, makes for a great little road trip.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 103

This portion of Arkansas State Highway 103 is a 12 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road, where more then half of the road trip involves descending off the mountain through a series of sharp and challenging corners.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 103 (To Osage)

This section of Arkansas State Highway 103 is an 11 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road, that offers a less crowded alternative to the often busy roads used to get to the popular motorcycle town of Harrison.  The ride is comprised of a series of gentle curves and nice scenic backgrounds, however, there are a few more challenging corners thrown in to keep you on your toes.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 123 (Arkansas Dragon)

Arkansas State Highway 123 is also known as the Arkansas Dragon.  This great Ozark mountain driving road might not be as famous as its cousin The Tail of the Dragon at Deal Gap, but it does offer 45 miles of driving bliss.  This road is engulfed by trees and rocky areas with increasingly frequent and sharp corners.  There are scenic views thrown in for good measure, but pay attention, those sharp hairpin corners will come back out of nowhere.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 155 (Mount Nebo)

Arkansas State Highway 155 is an 8 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road.  This quick but very sweet drive has a multitude of hairpin corners with extremely scenic views from atop of Mount Nebo.  The good thing about this road trip, there is only road to and from the top of this very scenic location.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 215 (Mulberry River Scenic Byway)

Arkansas State Highway 215 is also known as the Mulberry River Scenic Byway.  This is a 16 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road that follows the Mulberry River where you will encounter scenic views, challenging curves, elevation changes, and a unique rock wall that serves as guardrail.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 221

Arkansas State Highway 221 is a 10 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that leads to nowhere.  Beginning in the town of Berryville, the road becomes a series of fast curves interlaced with rocky areas and scenic views, until it comes to an end as it turns into a dirt road.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 246

Arkansas State Highway 246 is a great Ozark driving road that can be used to get from the tourist town of Hot Springs, to the best driving road in the area, the Talimena Scenic Byway.  When combined with Arkansas State Highway 84 and US Highway 70, this 50 mile stretch of road keeps you off the main highways, providing scenic views and nice sweeping curves.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWA 298

Arkansas State Highway 298 is a 30 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road, running through the Ouachita National Forest.   Just North of Lake Ouachita, this road offers numerous access points to the North side of the lake.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 309 (Mount Magazine)

Arkansas State Highway 309 is a great Ozark mountain driving road that takes you from Havana to Paris in the span of 28 miles.  The Arkansas State Park for Mount Magazine with its spectacular views is the primary highlight along road filled with curves and elevation changes.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 327

Arkansas State Highway 327 is a 19 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road with a nice mix of twisties, corners, and elevation changes.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 341 (Push Mountain Road)

Arkansas State Highway 341, also known as Push Mountain Road, is a 28 mile stretch of great uninterrupted Ozark mountain driving road, with a multitude of sweeping curves and corners, and nice elevation changes.  It might appear to be a little off the beaten path of popular motorcycling areas, but this is definitely a must explore road.

ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 374

Arkansas State Highway 374 is a 9 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road that pass through the middle of the valley that is known Grand Canyon of Arkansas.  Driving through this beautiful valley, this road trip is completely surrounded lush green hills and mountains.  Make your way to the top, where Arkansas State Highway 374 intersects with the Scenic 7 Byway, and be treated to a magnificent view of the valley below.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY 76

Missouri State Highway 76 is a 22 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that keeps you on the back roads, and away from the busy highways.  Branson Missouri and Eureka Springs Arkansas are two extremely popular tourist destinations.  If making your way from one town to the other, we suggest this twisty, rollercoaster ride of a road for some country back road fun.

OKLAHOMA STATE HIGHWAY 2

Oklahoma State Highway 2 is a 17 mile stretch of fun Ozark mountain driving road, located just North of the famous Talimena Scenic Byway.  So if you are heading the the Scenic Byway from the North, try out this little scenic road trip to wet your appetite for grand adventure.

OKLAHOMA STATE HIGHWAY 82

Oklahoma State Highway 82 is an 18 mile stretch of fun Ozark mountain driving road, located just North of the famous Talimena Scenic Byway.  So if you are heading the the Scenic Byway from the North, try out this little scenic road trip to wet your appetite for grand adventure.

TALIMENA SCENIC BYWAY (Oklahoma State Highway 1 and Arkansas State Highway 88)

Combined together, Oklahoma State Highway 1 and Arkansas State Highway 88 are also known as the Talimena Scenic Byway.  This former logging road has been turned into the best driving road in the Ozark area.  With no trucks allowed, extremely limited side road access, and remote location, this road is 50 miles of uninterrupted driving bliss.  Don’t forget to stop at one of the many overlook points for a full day worth of once in a lifetime road trip adventure.

US HIGHWAY 62 (Eureka Springs)

This portion of US Highway 62 is a 30 mile stretch of great Ozark mountain driving road that leads to and from the popular tourist resort town of Eureka Springs.  Entering Eureka Springs from the West via US Highway 62 is the more popular and scenic route, with more curves, hills and scenic views.  This is an extremely popular vacation spot, so traffic can get heavy at times.

US HIGHWAY 71 (Boston Mountain Loop)

This section of US Highway 71 is a 15 mile stretch of road that makes up part of the popular Boston Mountain Loop.  Combined with US Highway 49 that runs parallel, the Boston Mountain Loop is a 90 mile fun road trip through Western Arkansas.

US HIGHWAY 259

This section of US Highway 259 is a 26 mile stretch of road that provides Southern access to the Talimena Scenic Byway.  This is a high speed road that provides uphill and downhill adventure, through a series of dramatic and scenic high speed curves.

US HIGHWAY 270

This portion of US Highway 270 is a 24 mile stretch of great Ozark driving road that runs parallel to the Talimena Scenic Byway.  This high speed road offers scenic views with a fair amount of corners, and allows you to get from the Mena Arkansas area, to mid point along the Talimena Scenic Byway.

US HIGHWAY 271

This portion of US Highway 271 is an 8 mile stretch of great driving road that provides Western Access to the Talimena Scenic Byway.  Beginning in the town of Talihena Oklahoma, US Highway 271 offers a scenic uphill climb to the Western entrance to the Talimena Scenic Byway.
