This great Colorado driving road ventures up into the mountains, and then cuts though massive high mountain meadows where cattle roam freely, on its way into New Mexico.  We should know, we encounter a cattle drive traffic jam that involved, us, a pickup truck, and several hundred head of cattle.

This great Texas driving road provides fantastic scenic views as you approach a popular state park known for camping and playing in the cold water of the river.  Most people approach the park from the opposite direction, and miss out on the spectacular views.

This great New Mexico driving road might appear to start off fairly straight and flat, but even though you are already high in the mountains; the road makes the accent to a high mountain pass through a series of switchback corners, before gracefully winding you back down to our favorite New Mexico town.  There you go.

This great Ozark driving road is a little remote in regards to where most motorcycle riders in the Ozarks typically hang out.  Of course, we did encounter a guy from Germany in this area that was touring the Ozarks on his bike.  Wonder how he found out about this area, from so far away?

Starting in a high mountain town, this great New Mexico driving road drops out of the mountains, through a canyon filled with a dense pine tree forest, as it runs along side a mountain stream known for trout fishing.  If fishing is not your thing, then all the curves, corners, and scenic views might just have to suffice.

One of our favorites, this great Colorado driving road is fun to explore, with great views of the mountains and valleys below on both sides of the high mountain pass.  Of course during the summer, you don't have to worry about the warning signs that mention cannons being fired to help remove avalanche dangers from the sides of the mountain.

Located on the backside of the best Texas driving roads, this rural highway is often overlooked by people wanting a great driving road experience and is only used by the locals.  Those in the know have their fun on the other great roads in the area, then take the long way back so that this road is added to a great driving adventure.
