One of our favorites, this great Colorado driving road is fun to explore, with great views of the mountains and valleys below on both sides of the high mountain pass.  Of course during the summer, you don’t have to worry about the warning signs that mention cannons being fired to help remove avalanche dangers from the sides of the mountain.
